Weight fluctuations while dieting?

So I'm 5'8 and range anywhere from 145-149, depending on the day which is super weird. By no means am I obese or anything but I'm just trying to lose a few more pounds (my starting weight was 155), I've just been sticking to the "reduction diet"- where I eat less than normal, and I've been eating more fruits/veggies/etc. I've also been exercising. But sometimes it's a bit disappointing because I'll weigh myself one day and be 145, and weight myself two days later and be 149, without changing anything about my diet between those two days. I'm not on my period or anything so I'm not sure why my weight is fluctuating that much. Is this normal?
