So, I'm currently 18w 3d pregnant and I just started a new job at a vinyl pressing factory/ warehouse. The actual work I'm doing is pretty minimal some occasional lifting but my big concern is the temperature in the warehouse. By 11:00am when I got there it was already 96 degrees and got up to 100 as the day went on. I was definitely stressing (and sweating) the entire day as well as chugging water, but I'm concerned that working in those temperatures is bad for both me and baby. I'd love some input. Am I being paranoid or am I right to be concerned? I'm going to call my OB first thing tomorrow, obviously no job is worth risking my baby's health, but if it's doable I'll certainly stick it out.
