Is 4oz too much for a 3 and half week old??

My son eats 3 oz every 2.5-3 hours. But now he's fussy after he eats and roots like he wants more. I'm a first time momma, what should I do?!

Give him as much as he will take. It's not too much. The baby decides what is enough for him.

3 weeks is a REALLY big growth spurt. It should only last for max 1 week. You shouldn't  (need to) have to give that much for every long. If you know he should be satisfied, offer a pacifier and if he needs more in 10-15 minutes then give it to him. Let his tummy settle before over filling it.

Also look into paced bottle feeding. It will slow down feeding times, but it helps baby get full of all the nutrients.
