Cyst on ovaries?

I'm 9 weeks and had my ultrasound! Baby looks great, but they found a cyst on my right ovary. The doc didn't go into any details, and I had a flurry of other questions and forgot to ask. Has this happened to anyone else? What has doc said?

Yes! But my ultrasound tech explained that it's completely normal and just shows which ovary you ovulated on that cycle you got pregnant. I was having some sharp pains on that side so I asked my doctor about it at my next appointment and she said the cyst gives the body signs to make certain hormones the baby needs so unless the pain was super severe (which it wasn't) it was better to leave it be. It should dissolve on its own by the end of your first trimester! I hope this helps!

I have the same but the left ovary 
Mines the size of a golf ball , Doctor said it will cause no harm to baby, and will disappear within second trimester

I have a larger on on my right ovary and a few smaller ones on my left the doctor says everything will be fine and it won't affect the baby at all. Apparently it's a pretty common thing.

I have the same issue and my dr said the exact same thing. I'm getting mines monitored to see how much it grows but says like it will go away on its own 😍

I had one on my left ovary and they told me they actually look for them at your first US because of how common they are and they go away after or before you give labor . Completely harmless !

I have two on my left and the doctor said it very normal in pregnancy and will most likely go away in 2nd or 3rd trimester! If it's causing you pain I would call your doctor other than that you shouldn't be worried.

My last pregnancy I had a 7 cm one and they wanted to take it out in my second trimester because mine was in jeopardy of making my tube twist but I have 2 on the same side this pregnancy and they are fine and going to leave them. I think it depends on you're odds of having it twist

I have one on my left. My doctor told me it's normal the baby needs it till your baby's placenta is fully developed.
