Weaning off anti-depressants

I've been on antidepressants since I was 7. My husband and I would like to start ttc and we dont want to have any meds in my system. I've talked to my pcp and my gynecologist and they instructed me on how to wean off and the possible dangers of being on them for the baby and also the possible dangers of myself being off of them. I'm going to start weaning off Monday but I'm really afraid. I'm currently taking Lexapro (Escitalopram 20mg). Has anyone gone through this? How did you do? Any advise? She told me that it takes about 6 months to truly get the full feeling/effects of being off. I can't afford a psychiatrist or counselors and don't have the time either with my job, so that scares me too.
