Has anyone used or is looking into a doula for birth? I've been looking into it since my SO works during the times for the child birth classes and I'll admit it he has a huge problem showing sympathy for people in pain. I know I will be looking for support, and I'm not sure he knows how to show it. So instead of having the arguments and disappointments while I'm screaming in pain (I want to do all natural) I think having someone there to fill the gap would benefit both of us during this experience. The only issue is they run over 1k locally for this service. Has anyone tried? Did you think it was worth it??
