Wanting to get new birth control. What do you use & what's your experience?

I had the implant which I wouldn't recommend as I gained a ton of weight and felt horrible! But it's different for everyone! I wanted to try the nuvaring but they don't do that where I am 0.o (says the nurse) so I'm now just taking my chances with the withdrawal method 🤔 oh and I tried getting the Coil but that was too painful to get in XD

I'm on a low-estrogen pill which has been amazing because I had no side effects. But I will say.... I took it religiously for a long time and then my life got super busy, I was traveling a lot and working late and I never SKIPPED a pill... But it was so hard to take it at the same time everyday. Even with an alarm and having been so diligent for months. Now my life has gotten less busy and I am back to taking it strictly. Just be warned that it won't be effective if you don't take it around the same time everyday and that is the biggest downside.

I liked the pills. I would set an alarm and take it every day.
