I need some comforting!

Hannah
My name is Hannah and I am 23. It's a little bit of a long story, but I will try to make it as easy to read as I can.

First off, I can't hear well, so I have to wear hearing aids. I go to an Ear Nose and Throat Doctor every year for an annual check-up.
This time, as he was checking my nose and throat, the two parts of me that were supposed to be normal. He says he feels something on my right thyroid.
So I go have an ultra sound done, and it turnes out that there was not only a nodule on my right thyroid, but they found a nodule on my left thyroid; both over a centimeter in each dimension.
My doctor said that if it's over a centimeter, he has the patient run a biopsy. I am currently in the process of scheduling one.
My main reason why I am nervous and scare is because my grandmother was diagnosed with breast and lymphoma cancer. She is doing well, but currently receiving chemo.
I am just scared. I know only about 5% (or 15% not sure which) of thyroid nodules are malignant, but with everything going on in my life I am just really scared.
P.S. My boyfriend is upset with me for stupid reasons and wants me to talk or cuddle with him or whatever, but when I try he pushes me away. He keeps saying he will kick me out of our (really his) apartment.
