Can you become pregnant from precum?

I'm not sure if I'm using the right term for it, but hopefully you guys understand what I mean by precum. But, I've heard from some that you can become pregnant from it, but others have said you cannot. Can anyone please clarify for me?

First you should understand what precum is. It is produced by the bulbourethral gland (only in males) and its biological purpose is to clear the urethra of any urine so that sperm can survive once ejaculated. The only time that sperm can be in precum is if there was any left in the urethra from a previous ejaculation. If he has peed since the last time he's ejaculated, it's very unlikely that any sperm will be left as the urine would kill the sperm. Also, if there was any sperm left from a precious ejaculation, the amount would be extremely small. The chances of getting pregnant from precum are, although not impossible, very small.
