How much sugar do you put in your sweet tea per gallon?

I'm a born & raised southerner. My husband is born & raised in South Philadelphia. We're having a debate on how much sugar should go in tea (Boring, I know lol).

I use to do two cups then I married a Yankee boy so now it's one and half cause 
" it's too sweet" got on my nerves lol

I'm from Texas and my Mom always made our tea syrupy sweet. As I've gotten older, I don't like a while lot of sweet anymore. When I make my tea, I had 3/4 cup of sugar to 3 1/2 qts of tea. I should also mention that I like my tea really strong, so I use about 6 tea bags when I make tea.

Well I'm from south Arkansas and I put a little over .5 cups. I don't have a sweet tooth so too much sugar is unappealing to me. Sometimes my husband makes the tea though and I notice it's sweeter(little rascal is sneaking more sugar😂) I don't plan on getting "diabeetus" from drinking my tea! 😉 we go through a gallon almost every day..
