Cervix really help determine ovulation?

I finally found my cervix! This past weekend it was soft and really low, but now it is almost out of reach, but nowhere near as soft as when it was low. I am so confused! I don't have EWCM either, just creamy cm. I have PCOS so OPKs don't work for me, and I always lose my thermometer so don't temp either. Really I have no clue if I am ovulating or not, and reality is I probably am not ovulating at all!
