Thyroid meds - period help
Hope this is okay to post this to this group too - no one answered on the regular board.
Hey all!! I'll try to make this short. After getting of BC in November... I had periods that were anywhere from 41-84 days. I got diagnosed w hypothyroid in April. I have had my dosage up'ed 3 times (levothryoxine is my medication). The last time was 3.5 weeks ago. I started my period 5 days later... And it hasn't stopped. So 3 weeks of at least some heavy spotting. In fact my husband and I actually BD last night and now I have some bright red spotting going on... Is this normal when your body is all out of whack with new meds? Should I be concerned?
