Where my tattoos scabs came off when i shower. Or if I'm trying to lightly put on lotion it would fall off with my hand. It looks super faded under? Is that bad am I gonna have to get it retouched or is this normal.

Not trying to stir up any drama here, just adding my opinion to the mix... But all this talk of NOT washing a tattoo for days is bad advice.

Talk to your artist for their preferred method of aftercare so you don't run into any sticky situations later (a good artist will do 1 touch up for free but may be reluctant if you're not taking care of your ink properly) and if you have any questions... Call. If your artist is bothered by questions, they're not doing their job. Find another.

Before I catch any flak, my sister is an artist and I've worked/ran three shops. Not washing fresh ink for days on end is a recipe for disaster.

On to your questions... Your tattoo looks fine and that all sounds normal to me but if, once it's fully healed, you want it darker... Go back. Not all skin takes ink the same way. Good luck and congrats on your new art. It's lovely :)

Your skin may not have taken the ink. It is new skin though, so it may darken. Do NOT get it retouched for at least 6 weeks. Your skin will not be healed until then, even if it looks like it is.

How long ago did you get it?  You aren't supposed to wash a tattoo for at least 3-4 days after getting it.

I'd leave it a week then get it retouched. I thought mine faded but it went black again, really bizarre!

You're not supposed to wash a tattoo for a while or even let water run on it. But it's normal for dark colored tattoos like that. It'll go back to normal when it's completely healed.
