I had a epidural with my first and I have bad back problems now since then. I can't bend at all without excruciating pain. I really don't want another needle in my damned spine and I won't be having a vaginal.

Is their any other alternate way to be numbed for a csection

If you decline the epidural they can put you under a general anesthesia but then you'll miss the whole birth and you so won't be able to be in the room. Also it will be a couple hours before you will be awake enough to see your babe

I had an spinal with my csection. I only have discomfort if I'm bend over for longer than 20min. Also I'm 11weeks pp, so its getting better

I had a spinal anaesthetic which is different from an epidural.

It was pain free going in and has caused me zero complications.
