Do you believe that confiding & getting close with another girl is considered cheating?

I just found out my ex was confiding & getting close with his female coworker while we had problems & gave up on our relationship . I consider this cheating. I just wanna make sure I'm not being crazy or petty af.

Personally I do. There's no reason for your man to be talking to anyone else but you or a counselor about your relationship problems... Imo

It's emotional cheating. Any male or female that feels the need to express their problems to the opposite sex can be considered emotional cheating. They are receiving something whether it be sympathy, happiness an escape etc from the opposite sex. They didn't go to their homie or girlfriend about it. They chose someone they see daily, all day and there's a high probability they are attracted to them. This is their way of getting their foot in the door. They complain about the SO regarding all the wrong they are doing but don't ever include themselves. If anyone has problems in the relationship but refuses to address it to each other there's MAJOR problems. Once your SO has stopped talking to you about it it's over and they have moved on. The person hearing the complaints should let these people know- Hey I'm not a qualified counselor. If you have issues with your SO you should probably talk to each other about and try to work It out. Period.

Eh, no. I wouldn't consider that cheating. Unless he kissed her, had sexual contact, or had had sex with her, I wouldn't consider that cheating. What I would consider that is highly disrespectful. Mine and my hubby's golden rule is that we do not go to friends and family to vent about the other at all. Because we have respect for each other and wouldn't want anyone to look at the other in a wrong light because of a problem we were having in  the relationship. Did I read correctly that you guys are no longer together? I'm sure it hurts, but it's probably for the best since it seems like he has no respect for you. Wait on the one who will put you first and have the utmost respect for you! 😊

Unless it's a romantic relationship it's not cheating. You're allowed to dislike the relationship but I don't think you can really call it cheating

Can someone explain to me how this is cheating? Why wouldn't your S/O be allowed to talk to friends about his relationship and life issues? Not allowing them to vent doesn't sound very healthy.

Would you think the same if he was talking to a male coworker about it? I've been that girl (as their friend) that men have spoke to about their relationships and their girlfriend has kicked off  about him talking to me and it's just like "hunny I'm really not a threat to you"

Yes I would consider that emotional cheating. There is no reason for my husband to talk to another female about our marriage. If he were to go talk to one of his boys then that's different. Females are scandalous and them hearing that there problems in a relationship let's them think they have a chance. I would be highly upset if I found that out.

If he was close in an inappropriate way then yes that is cheating, but just going off what you are saying..... that is not cheating.

Unless there's flirting or sexual stuff going on no I don't. That's just friendship. Some times you need a friend to help you get out of a bad relationship when you aren't strong enough to do it by yourself.
