Can Folic Acid Help you get pregnant?

I have never took this before anyone that has that knows what it's exactly for ? Please let me know

It's to prevent neural tube defects in your baby. You should start taking them even before you start trying to conceive. I don't think it can help you get pregnant, but it will make you healthier, which might help!

I don't know about helping you get pregnant but after my miscarriage my doctor told me to start taking them to lower my risk of another miscarriage

After our angel was diagnosed with severe SB and she did not live, we were advised to take folic acid every day. 400 micrograms. Which is important, because your body will only process so much.  You are told to take prenatals and increase your folic acid intake while trying.
It doesn't make you more fertile, and yes too much can cause infertility. This is why a prenatal is great because it has all that is needed that your body can process!!
Also a good bowl of captain crunch a day helps.

Actually, folic acid can make you infertile.  It's a synthetic form of folate and some women can't break it down due to a very common genetic mutation and it can cause infertility.  I take a prenatal that is folate and b12.  It's easier for the body to break it down.
