Why do male doctors decide to go into Gynecology?

I'm curious! I heard it was because the surgeries are easy and pay a lot. On the other hand...I don't know if that's true!

I would imagine delivering babies is a very rewarding experience.

The same reason females do. They love their job and are passionate about helping people.

Hopefully because they love their job, have a passion to understand female anatomy further (in a non sexual way lol) and gyno's are one of the higher paid doctors!

Because of their passion and love for their jobs. Imagine bringing new life into this world every day. Plus they understand they don't have to sexualizes a woman's body because she's more than a sex machine and baby incubator. 
A better question is why does a doctor choose gastroenterology or proctology in my opinion.

I think when people hear about men working in gynaecology they instantly think "ONFG HE JUST WANTS TO STARE AT VAGINAS ALL DAY! WHAT A PERVERT!" When really it's quite the opposite. A lot of the time they'd be looking at women whom are pregnant, inserting birth control, women with STIs, elderly women and more. After a while a vagnia is a vagnia. That's it. My mum does waxing and she said after a while it's just your job. You not having sex with them or anything. You're just doing your job.
