Always. There are some users who single you out based on one post you've made, so it's better to be anon until these people control themselves

I never felt the need to post anonymously. Unless you're embarrassed about a question relating to health, I don't see the point in it at all.

I think the anon button is honestly just used by bigoted cowards. It ensures they can spread hate without having their words traced back to them.

Pro tip: if you've blocked someone, you can't see their posts. I've caught out a few anon trolls before due to having previously blocked certain users.

Sometimes I post anonymous because I want real answers. Not just someone who dislikes me and doesn't want to say they agree with my opinion. I've had that happen before. I think some people's views are based on rather they like you or not.

I have only once made an anon post...it was about whether or not a power outage was a good excuse for being late to work...but I outed myself after only a few comments because I couldn't not respond lol. Not even sure why I posted it anon, anyway? 
My feeling about the anon option is that it's a good thing for posting in rooms that pertain to personal or possibly embarrassing subject matter. But for CC posts, it only provides a "curtain" for bigotry & ignorance.

posting pictures of my daughter or boyfriend.. no need to post anonymous. I just comment 98% of the time.

I never post anonymously because I don't post my personal business on glow or any other social media. 😂 I doubt anyone even knows what I look like even though I did have my picture up at one point. I honestly believe that some of the trolling would go away if anonymous post weren't allowed.
