I have posted about this so many times so I'm sorry, but clearly this isn't easy for me. My fiancé of 6 years ended things at the beginning of May because of an abortion we had 5 years ago. He supported me through it but apparently he has been burying feelings the past 5 years. He can't seem to get past it and couldn't be in the relationship anymore. When I said " you are giving up" he said he isn't and that he tried to get past it. He thought getting engaged, buying a home together and trying for a baby (we tried from dec 2014-February 2016 so a little over a year) would help get him past the way he was feeling. It didn't. I can't help but feel like he gave up but then on the other hand giving up would have been ending it 5 years ago. What do you think?! He said no to counseling cause clearly he can't open up about stuff. Also we were 2 weeks away from buying a home together when he ended things.
