Am I the only one?

I am a Christan who is planning on waiting until marriage, but being a 16 year old (well 16 next month) female, waiting seems hard. I completely understand why we are supposed to wait. You're supposed to share something special between you and your partner, but I still have curiosities/desires. This guy that I am talking to is not a virgin and he understands and respects my decision. 💕 Am I the only one who feels like this? I want to wait, but at the same time, I don't.

It is difficult.  And at the end of the day you have to make the decisions you can live with. No matter what anyone says here on anything really, at the end of your days you're the one that has to bear your soul to your maker. I would take time to reflect on what's important to you. But Christianity perches salvation and forgiveness of our sins, if you truly seek it. Again, it's your soul and your decision either way. If you're struggling with it, then I suggest waiting until you are certain either way. I am very Christian, but everyone's personal relationship with their faith is different. We're not perfect, but it's acknowledging that and continuing to strive to be better that makes us followers of Christ. My point is do what you believe in, only God can judge you.

Girl you're not alone. I'm 19 and it's sooo hard especially if you don't have anyone that you can talk to about what you're feeling. But if you're going to do it, ensure that you won't have any regrets and at the end of the day God is the only judge that truly matters.

Girl I feel ya. I'm a christian too. I  am nineteen and sometimes it feels like it will be hard to wait but I know that if I didn't wait I would regret it 100 % I say wait. But in the end its your choice , whether you regret it in the future or not.

I was raised in a shaker church. (They say no sex at all even if you're married, it's merely to reproduce.) I gave my virginity to my first boyfriend, after we'd broken up, and I still don't regret it. We wanted that for each other since his dad said we couldn't date anymore because he had bad grades. I was 13 and he was 15. It's matter of how you think, really. We didn't end bad at all, it was just the other people surrounding us. I'm glad it was him, but you gotta be glad forever if you make that decision.

I understand it is because of your culture but that is not always the case , you might not be forever with the person you marry . Which might not be the case also but it's about you experiencing new things ! Finding things out that you never knew . It's an amazing feeling to do it with someone you love , doesn't mean you got to wait till marriage :)

I grew up in the church and I guess I still have but I stopped because I relized it was bullshit but I do respect your decison and your very lucky to have a boyfriend that understands. Ik it can be hard but if your ready God forgives
