If you pump and store your milk, do you leave it frozen until your baby is hungry (or right before if on schedule) or do you defrost it ahead of time? Also, can anyone tell me WHY breastmilk is no good after 24 hours of being defrosted? Does it actually go bad that quick or does it simply have less nutrients??? Milk in the fridge is supposed to last up to a week so why cant defrosted milk be used after the 24 hour mark? Will it make my baby sick?
