So me and my husband had our baby shower today for our princess. It went great and we recieved alot of nice things, but i felt guilty in the first place because 1. I don't like when people spend money on me (or this case baby) and 2. Because we just got married in october and found out thanksgiving we were expecting so thats is 2 "showers" with in a years time (bridal and baby) so i feel even more guitly for people buying gifts and things for us becuase its the same group of people. Well to add even more guilt my MIL made a comment about how oh we went on your registry and you guys have expensive taste as we were opening gifts. Now we put bigger items on the registry knowing that they qouldnt get purchased so we could get a percentage off when WE went to go buy them ourselves. So for her to say that made me feel bad than i had a couple other family membera make more comments.

What really throws me is we put a bunch of little stuff on there as well so people had plenty of options to choose from and hardly any of that stuff was given as gifts!!

Sorry for the long rant i just hate this guilty feeling i get and than family who knows how i fewl makes me.feel worse!!
