Can i go see a doctor about my pregnancy withouth my parents?

I'm underage and might be pregnant, i want to avoid it as much as possible so i want to see a doctor but do i have to have my parent's consent?

Also some advice: I know right now it seems like you can hide this from your parents but it's gonna come out eventually (ya know when you start to get a basketball belly and also when you all of a sudden have a baby around, lol) might as well get it over with, you could probably use the support.

You could go to a women's clinic or planned parenthood to confirm your pregnancy first, you don't need a parents to go with you.

L&D nurse here... In IL once you are pregnant you don't need parental consent for care, even if you are a minor. You are considered to be legally able to make your own medical decisions until baby is born. After that you go back to being considered a minor and would need parental consent.

You have to have your parents consent for them to see and treat you, but you also have patient confidentiality, so if you don't want your parents knowing yet, they can't tell me. I had a friend who went in and the office just called her parents to make sure it was okay to see her.
