Could I have re-given myself chlamydia?!
I was told I had chlamydia about a month ago after visiting prompt care, and started my antibiotics & my period on the same exact day.
I thought nothing of wearing pads and using my diva cup (still wearing pads as this was only my 2nd cycle using it) because it is a non-porous surface and was cleaning it as told in the directions between emptying.
About 1-2 weeks after I had ended both my cycle and the one week of waiting for the antibiotics to work their magic, I began feeling itchy again, had green tinted discharge once and clumpy white discharge. It went away after a few days, and now I'm back to just being a little itchy and it being painful if I wipe too hard.
Should I go back & be re-checked and throw out my pretty much new diva cup?! I boiled if after my last cycle to get any remains of infection off and figured I'd be a-ok because of antibiotics and again, a non-porous surface.
Help? 😞
