Camping during period days

Hey guys! I would like some opinion on this. My boyfriend and some friends planned a camping weekend for 4 days in two weeks. Unfortunately it falls exactly on the dates I get my period! I really want to go but I've been debating about going because of it. My flow is usually pretty heavy on the first two days and I didn't want to be out in the wilderness bleeding everywhere and constantly changing lol. Has anyone ever gone camping while on your period? If so, how was that experience for you?
