I went in for a level 2 ultra sound the other day due to my blood test coming back with elevated levels for AFP. Turns out it was false positive and the spinal cord looked great. However, the doctor had found abnormalities with the brain. One part of the cerebellum had formed and the other had either not formed, was damaged, or could have a possible tumor on it. Other areas seemed to be affected as well, but as you can all imagine, a lot of the information was hard for me to swallow after hearing something could possibly be wrong with my baby :( I am going in for an MRI to get some definite answers and am trying to hope for the best. Anyone else out there been through similar situations or know anyone that has? Thx mamas! ❤️
