I have had the Mirena for 3 1/3 years. I had it taken out last October. I had very light periods for a year then it stopped. After taking it out, my periods started right away. After tracking I've realized they arent 100% regular. Last month I was 5 days late. This month I thought for sure I was pregnant but nope. Got my period yesterday making me a week and 4 days late. We are trying to have another baby but I'm not sure if my hormones have even gone 100% back to normal. Anyone out there have issues after iud removal period wise? How long until your periods stayed regular?
