Doc visit at 40wks

So I went to the hospital today to get monitored and I guess I had 4 small contractions (didn't know that) and little man is almost 8lbs at 40 wks. They said they will induce on 4th of July if he is still being stubborn! Anyone have any advice on how to get him out?! I can't have the oil because I'm in another country and they don't have it on base.
