Already gaining?!

Question

I've already gained 2lbs at about 7.5 weeks pregnant. I'm overweight to start so I am feeling really rotten about this. As SOON as my stomach is empty I feel gaggy and sick until I eat something, so I've been eating a lot. I dunno what to do!!

I wouldn't stress too much,  likely most of it is water weight right now. If you can (and doctor approved of course ) try to get some light exercise in each day. Even walking works wonders and makes you feel better with all those endorphins! ☺lots of love to you, mama!

I've lost 10 lbs  since finding out. I'm always hungry. Always nauseous. I throw up so hard I sometimes pee myself . 
I'm always exhausted and have  a constant crippling fear that my baby isn't getting food.

Don't worry about a few lbs gain, as long as baby is healthy.

I'm 8weeks today and have gained 6lbs, I was 112 pre pregnancy and was trying to gain weight in muscle anyways but I feel like this is too fast! I'm 5'

I'm normal weight and at 7.5 have gained 3 lbs.. A bit stressful since it's suggested not to gain more than 4.5 lbs max in first trimester and I know a lot of women lose weight. I've been able to control my nausea to not vomit but keep feeling hungry and don't want to deny baby food. At the same time I don't want to gain an extra 6-7 lbs by 12 weeks that I'm stuck with at the end.

I've gained 3 lbs so far but I'm actually eating this time around. Last year with my son I gained 12lbs total because I was so sick. This pregnancy could get interesting 😬

I gained 8 kgs in first 5 months last pregnancy. I haven't lost any weight since my last and so starting on the heavier side! Certainly is a scary thing! Think I'm going to be the size of a whale at the end of this one!

I hear ya!!! I started this pregnancy at the weight I was at 40 weeks pregnant with my first! Feels terrible and scary huh?

I gained 1 pound over the weekend and I've been thinking about it all day today. I even downloaded a calorie counter and took extra walks at work.

The good news is I read you shouldn't gain as much weight during a pregnancy if you started overweight vs if you started out under weight or normal weight.

Per my period, I'm 8w3d. Per ultrasound, I'm 6w5d. I've gained more than 10 pounds already.
