42 Weeks?!

Question

So my due date was June 16. I really want baby to come naturally on her own, and plan to have a natural birth. But she's just cozy in there!! Has anyone else gone all the way to 42 weeks or close, and did baby come without induction?

We are both healthy and I'm not concerned about baby's size. Getting a membrane sweep today.

I went into labor naturally at the end of the day at 41 weeks + 2days and had him the next day. This was my second pregnancy.

I got a membrane sweep at 40w1d and had sex a few hours after. Went into labor around 1:30am the next morning and had baby at 40w3d!

So, did baby come on their own or did you have to induce?

I was due the 18th. Last Wednesday was still closed and not even dilated enough to even do a sweep. I've done acupuncture and acupressure, tons of walking, sex, bouncing on the birthing ball, nipple stimulation, pineapples, EPO, you name it haha. Went for a test to monitor baby today. Fluids are all good, and she's a healthy and happy camper in there!

My firstborn has surgery in the morning, so in hoping it's not tonight. They're inducing me at 41+6 to have her at 42. So I may be having a July baby!
