Threatened miscarriage

I'm into my fifth week of pregnancy and I started spoting bright read followed by brown today. Visited the doc and I am under threat of having my second miscarriage. I'm not sure if I should still try to remain positive or if I should just accept that I'm going to loose this child too. I lost my first pregnancy at 6 weeks after similar symptoms. I go back to the doc for another blood draw in two days. Has anyone had this happen and have a healthy baby come out of it?
