Best breast pump for a good price!?

I plan to hopefully use it only for helping my supply and creating bottles for baby girl in the night so dad can get up and feed her too!

Go through insurance to get a FREE one!!! Don't spend your money. And I recommend the medela pump in style. I loved mine. And got another with this pregnancy!!!

Your insurance should completely cover a basic model (ACA, Wohoooo!)

I like my Medela Freestyle. It's an "upgrade" cost, but I can clip the pump up my pants and pump while doing other things. Many of the others are a bag style that you can carry with you for the same purpose.

I also got a Spectra through insurance through Byram Healthcare's website. It works really well although the it's not the smallest machine. I'm really pleased with it.

Used an Ameda in the past and hated it. It was loud and the chug sound drove me insane, and you have to manually adjust the knobs to simulate letdown mode unlike the Spectra. It is pretty small/portable however.

I went with Medela Pump In Style. Insurance covered it and I used Target's program so they basically did all the legwork with insurance and I just stopped by Target to pick it up.

Call your insurance company and talk to them about it. Also your local health department can assist you in a pump rental. ( seems weird to me but they're clean and sterilized)

I got a Hygeia pump because it's a closed system. Look up the difference between open and closed systems, I don't think I can explain it well. All Medela pumps (except the hospital grade pump) are open systems. Several other brands are closed systems too, not just Hygeia.
