Tell me what you think about Period Sex!

So my boyfriend doesn't agree with period sex.. Well I agree with it. I would love to have sex on my period! What do I do? Let it be? Is this a "deal breaker". His excuse is that it's way too mess but he just doesnt want blood on his dick. I told him blood washes off and your wearing a condom and he still seems to disagree. Thoughts?
