Whats the safest paint to do this?

So I found online that you could use kool-aid as paint..and the kids can eat it so no worry if your kid is in the phase of putting their hands in their mouth. All it is 3 cups of water, 2 cups of flour, 1/2 cup of salt, 3 tbsp of oil and your choice of kool-aid.

I use just regular craft paint. It's all non-toxic
