My parents won't let me date, any tips?

So my parents, well my mom, won't let me date. Any time I even mention a guy my mom loses her shit! 
I'm currently dating someone and I really want to introduce him to my parents but I can't.
I believe that they won't let me date because my older brother had his first kid at a young age (Btw I'm 18 about to be 19).
And yes I have talked to my mom about me having a boyfriend and I've told her that I'm not gonna have kids for a good while. (Still a virgin)
Soo any tips on how to convince my Hispanic mom to let me date?😩

My mom told me, I can't even wipe my own ass, so no . But I think she meant finish school and have your career first . I still dated despite what she said, lol .

My parents are the same way, and i am 17 about to be 18 in two weeks. I havent dated anybody and if i do i become a debby downer because i cant go anywhere. I cant make time for a boyfriend. Im currently a college freshman attending summer classes and i noticed a change in my parents. They are a lot more lienient because im in college(the first in my family) and btw my cousins all have gotten pregnant as teenagers sooo they are more strict on me. I would suggest talking to your mom. Prove to her it is time for you to be independent. Knowing us hispanics they will probably tell us we live in their house their rules but just wait on it and keep insisting.

I was only allowed to date once I was in university, I would just try and have a sit down conversation with her saying that you are friends with this boy who is wonderful to you and you would like to introduce her to him
