So two weeks ago last Thursday I started to get excruciating pain in my right lower abdominal which I had to phone a doctor out as I couldn't move, I got rushed to hospital which I was seen by the A&E team which were lovely who suspected that I had an appendicitis. I was out on a short stay ward where the nurses who weren't actually nurses they were health care assistants were so god damn rude moaning about having to care for me outside of my room, coming and saying 'what's wrong with you now' never documenting my obs or the painkillers I had taken, one nurse even gave me a syringe of oral morphine and put it on my table and told me a time I should take it myself which then resulted in another nurse coming in a shouting at me for having it on my table when I hadn't even put it there. The second day I was in they completely ignored didn't care at all I had seen the doctor and he said he wanted to put a camera through my belly button to then operate. As I was getting no answers from the nurses and no pain relief or anything I got my mum to come visit me and talk to the nurses about what was happening to which the nurses told her they came in to check on me every 30 minutes and that I only had gastroenteritis which led me to discharge myself as I could have cared for myself better at home. I spent the whole weekend in agony which led to me being rushed up the hospital again on the Monday to which led to me having my appendix taken out on the Tuesday as my appendix had a hole in it which was leaking into my body and gradually scaring my insides. I just can't believe how uncaring and disorganised some of the nhs staff can be.
