When are you all announcing your pregnancy to friends and family?

We told close family but that's all. I know it's proper to wait until 2nd trimester but was wondering when you guys were planning on announcing?

Told close family right away. I think we're gonna wait until 8-10 weeks to tell everyone else.

We are telling family and friends at 10 weeks and the rest of the world around 13 when we find out the gender. The real reason we are waiting to tell family is because they will tell everyone they know and we don't want that until after a confirmed heartbeat.

Family knew from the start, made the Facebook announcement and told friends etc after I saw the baby for the first time at 7 weeks. Couldn't hold it in after I saw that

We're waiting till after 12 weeks, have had miscarriages before and told too soon, then had to untell. The worst feeling ever! So we will be waiting. It's getting hard though, hubby's family knows we are doing ivf and keep asking when we are doing it, and we have to keep telling them not for a while. Even though we have already finished. Don't want to explain we are, then it didn't last like before!

8 week scan if all goes well we will tell family and a close friend each. Otherwise, it'll be after first trimester if we can

We told family straight away and I had to tell work last week as I was required to do some heavy lifting and didn't want to put myself at risk! 
Went for a scan today after a bit of scare with bleeding but everything's okay and saw the baby's heartbeat so waiting to tell friends till our 12 weeks scan when we confirm due date! 💜
