Baby fussy when laid down?

Question

My baby is 11 days old and was sleeping decently. Recently though, he will get fussy so easily when i lay him down to nap or to sleep. I'm not sure what to do or if this is just a "phase."

Try swaddling him or her in a blanket..  wrapping mine up like a little burrito has helped alot. He's a month old now and can sleep with nothing, but still likes blankets by him. I usually place a small stuffed animal next to his side if I think he's gonna wake up, to "fake him out".

My son is the same way also his almost 2wks old. My thinking is that our babies are getting alil to used to being in our hands all the time..im trying to get him not too comfortable on me all the time
