Red wine while pregnant?

NOT saying I'm drinking while I am pregnant. But I was wondering different opinions based on red wine while pregnant . I've heard you could and some say you could not.

Again and again. You'll never know did it hurt your baby or not. Because all examlples ("I drink and everything is fine" or "my mother drunk and I'm fine" or etc.) are showing that nothing major had happened. But that doesn't prove anything. Yes, they have both legs and arms, but your kids might be smarter if you wouldn't drink, or  might have better health or might be stronger or anything else. You don't have a chance to compare this child and the same child without drinking. So don't say "and everything is fine". It's just irresposible to drink while pregnant.

My ob said 1/2 glass a week is safe after the first trimester.

I might be a lot of crap for this but seriously? I would not do anything that could possible hurt my child. you cannot hold off on alcohol for 9 months?? You are creating a life but whatever I guess. There are plenty of things you could do instead of drinking wine if stressed. Get a milkshake and take a bath, color, yoga whatever can calm you!

I had a half glass here and there with my second child. Never enough to even feel the slightest bit tipsy or lightheaded of course. Mostly my sips were of champagne on special occasions. Always with a meal. I'm comfortable with that. I think it depends on your personal comfort level. I haven't yet with this baby because there haven't been special occasions haha.

I had half a glass the other night. Stress is also not good and I had a total of 2 glasses with my son and he's perfection. I had half glasses for certain occasions. I only will have it maybe 2-4 times. Some doctors say it can't hurt and some out it on the better safe than sorry list. But a little to me is no big deal. I'm not a big drinker anyway. The night I had it this time j found my dad had a year or less to live and my husbands brother did some messed up stuff to my husband and my mom got scheduled for a surgery. I just needed to relax and reading and zentangle wasn't cutting it.
