Does your child sleep with you?

Question

I'm not talking newborns or 1 years old. But rather toddlers & school age... How old is your child and how long have you been co sleeping?

No I have a no kids in my bed rule I'll lay down with them in their bed if they are scared or need soothing but I set up that boundary because that is special space for me and my hubby

My 2 and 1/2 year old often sleeps in the bed with me. Any time he asks I normally let him. I love it. It's our bonding time.

My 6 year old sleeps with me. He's been sleeping with me on and off since forever. Last year he actually slept in his room for a little while, but then back to sleeping with me. Baby is due in 9 weeks so next week he's going back to his own room. Fingers crossed for me and the hubby.

My mum let me sleep with her any time I wanted, she was a single mum though and I used to suffer from night terrors if I was alone. It was really comforting for me to know that option was always there I would definitely offer the same comfort for my children. 
My mum even used to carry me to her bed some nights if she had a bad dream or was feeling lonely haha! Very strange to wake up in a bed I didn't fall asleep to but she had an electric blanket so no competition.

My 4 year old sleeps with me only bc i moved to a smaller room and my bed and hers dont fit takes up too much space!

My oldest, 6, is the only one that will get up during the night and sleep in our bed.

Both kids slept in our bed;though they had their own rooms. The oldest until 5. But we'd put her in her own bed once she fell asleep. When we had the youngest we lived in a rental home y she just refused to sleep in her room. She'd run out screaming. My husband travelled y sometimes I heard footsteps at night. I told husband; he slept on the floor in our youngest bedroom. Something scared him too! At that point we moved, bought a house from a pastor now our youngest sleeps in her own room peacefully. Our oldest just had bad dreams but grew out of it. My youngest 7 oldest 22. I think it's normal for kids to need the safety y warmth of their parents. No matter if its being scared of the dark (nightlight helps in the room y halls)? Having bad dreams (helping them understand), fear of loneliness (a stuffed animal,radio storytime), or a haunted house (move). In the end all will workout. Enjoy the quality time but make sure marriage intimacy is still intact :)

We co-slept with our son until he was 3 and had his own room. It was surprisingly easy to get him to start going to sleep in his own bed without me or his dad. Now he's 4 and he sleeps in his own room most of the time but we sometimes wake up in the morning with him sleeping next to us.

My 3 yr old comes into our bed. He falls asleep there and we move him to his room in the night, but if he fusses or awakens he's welcome back in our bed. Doesn't seem to bother him that he woke up in his bed, and he knows he's welcome in ours. If it's early in the night sometimes we'll move him back into his bed after as well.
