Staying home after baby?

I'm full time,  but work 3 days a week.  I love being a nurse so I couldn't imaging not going back.  I know I need adult conversation and would go crazy if I stayed home.

I'll go back to work full time. I work as a teaching assistant in a special needs room. I really enjoy my job. I will be taking 12 weeks paid maternity leave.

Back to full time work. My job has the insurance and pays more.  So not really an option for me at the moment.

I get 4-6 months off and then I get to take my little one to work with me but I'll only be part time. Mon-Thurs 1pm-5:30pm. I'm pretty excited about how flexible it is. Plus I don't lose any snuggle time!

I'm a pathology resident so not much choice at this point :P full time (plus some 😛) it is!

I'm kind of half and half? Haha.
I own my own business and work from home, and I'm going to continue until my busy season ends. (End of December, early January.)
BUT I've hired people for November and December to cover what I normally would have been doing. So technically I will be sitting on my butt with baby and answering any questions hahaha.
I'm also taking my slow season (Jan to March) completely off.

My original plan after my first was to go back to work, then my boss relocated to another state taking my job with him when I was 9 months pregnant. I had a job opportunity at the same place but with a physical therapy office. But I ended up not going back to work. He helped make my decision and I'm glad haha. I love being a SAHM. Thankfully we are blessed enough to be able to.
