Just went in for an ultrasound at 25 +5. It was a follow up ultrasound from my growth check at 23 weeks. Her head was measuring small and so was her ear length. They ran a bunch of blood tests to see if I was exposed to something and were also concerned for microcephaly or other chromosomal anomalies. We had done the sequential screening early on and then the second part at 16 weeks and all had looked good and all had looked great at 20 week anatomy scan too. So we were shocked that all of a sudden she had all of these potential issues. Blood work came back normal but We had to wait two weeks for a recheck on her growth. Needless to say these last 2 weeks have been horrible and this morning was so scary. But her measurements caught back up and they are not concerned. We go back in 4 weeks. I can't stop crying with relief. I prayed every day, God is so good.
