Does anyone have any tattoos representing their struggle with infertility?

We have been TTC for almost 2 years now. I want to get this sea turtle but with the pink and blue coloring.

But when I told my mom about wanting to get the tattoo her response was... well why don't you just wait and see how long it takes you to get pregnant. As though this hasn't been a huge part of my life. I mean hell I'm on Clomid. My husband has had sperm analysis done. I would think that me wanting to have a symbol of this journey would be a bit more warmly accepted. It's not like I come from a family that doesn't have tattoos either. When I get this one it will be my 4th.

I think it's beautiful and if you do get pregnant, that doesn't negate this part of your life! I don't have infertility but I did get a tattoo to honor my girls who were born sleeping at 18w
