When do cervix checks start?

I went to my appointment thinking I would get checked because I'm 36 weeks & 4 days but all she did was the gbs test...when do you normally start getting checked

Had my 37 week appt yesterday and they asked me if I wanted to be checked or not since it's not medically necessary. They will ask me each time from here on out!

At my last appointment (36+4) my OBGYN asked me if I wanted to be checked after my group B strep swab. She said I'd be checked at my weekly appointments from then on.

My doctor starts at 37 weeks and weekly I have to go in. Most docs do not like checking at all or super early because it can induce or start preterm labor.

My doctor started checking me at 34 weeks. I also had a lot of pelvic pain so that could be why.. She has checked me every time I've had an appointment now.. Will be 36 weeks Sunday

I asked my doctor this today! I went in for my 36 week checkup thinking I would be checked but he said since I haven't been having contractions he'll start next week!
