How can I make baby to sleep at night?

I try to keep my 1 month old baby up from 5pm-9pm I talk to her and keep her entertained. I want her to eat and take naps during the day and sleep at least night or try 🙄 she won't stop crying from 12am-4am maybe colic 🤔 any moms know a few tricks? Perhaps bathing baby at night might help?

I would suggest not keeping her up at any particular time at this age. I found that when my baby got more regular naps during the day she started giving me a long stretch of sleep at night. Overly tired babies fuss. And four week olds typically only have a wakeful period of about 1.5 to 2 hours.

I started getting really sleep deprived around four weeks also! and my baby's fussing was only ramping up. But when I started putting her down for naps every hour and half, it really helped at night.

I also got almost instant results from taking her outside first thing in the morning and keeping her space completely dark at night. I kept blinda open so she'd get natural light during the day when I wanted her up. And I changed her by night light at night, just never turned a big light on at night.

Around 6 weeks babies hit their peak fussiness, so just hang in there. My baby hollered all night long from about 3 - 7 weeks. Now at nine weeks she goes right back to sleep after nursing all night, sleeps from 8pm to about 10 am with only nursing breaks, and is in a pleasant mood all day as long as she gets her day naps. It does get better and almost instantly after the six week growth spurt.

Just gently nudge baby in the right direction with signaling day and night time with light and letting her get the rest she needs during the day.

Keeping them up messes with their sleep patterns and will actually mess up their sleep schedule, I let my baby nap as she pleases and at about a month and a half old she started sleeping all night.

I bathe my one month old at 8:30 every night, then lotion her with the lights dim, and then feed her and she always passes out. Not sure if that will help, but it works with my LO

We have gotten our little girl (2 months) into a routine. We start with a diaper change and swaddle. I then nurse her and put her in the crib. I keep her room dark during the nursing. We also put one of my shirts over her crib. Supposedly they can smell your scent and it comforts them. My husband also read that when they do start to fuss try not to take them out of the crib (or whatever you may have them) instead soothe them while they are still in the crib. Apparently taking them out confuses them. I hope this helps.
