Breast Pump Opinions?!

Question

I want opinions on breast pumps and which ones are worth the money. I know Medela is a great brand but I can't afford it! I really want a double electric pump as I'm going to be a single mom and I could use the flexibility and speed of a double pump. I've read all kinds of reviews online but since I'm a FTM and I've never had to worry about any of this before, the reviews arent really helping me! Thanks in advance for any information you can give me!

The reviews I've read I'm going to go with the spectra s2 it's on Amazon for 120 dollars and what I like about it is it's a closed system breast pump which means no milk will drop so there will be no mold cleaning it will be easy as well  it rated higher than the medela breast pump which is a open system what helped me pick out one was through the open or closed system so that helped me a lot good look I hope that helps you

I used a rented medalla with my first pregnancy and it did great. Bought a Avent one with my daughter and loved it. Not sure what to get with this baby since so much has changed in the last 8yrs

Most insurance companies cover double electric breast pumps nowadays. Get a medela pump in style advanced or a Spectra. I went to http://www.breastpumps.aeroflowinc.com and filled out their form..they will contact your insurance company and get the prescription from your doctor do that you don't have to do anything, they will let you know which ones you can get for free.

Girl! Insurance will pay for it! I paid $0 for my Medela and I love it. Some of the cheap ones don't have strong enough suction and can decrease your milk supply, so make sure whatever you get is rated highly!!

I got a madella pump with my first baby. It was electric double pump. They mailed it to me.

Have you checked with your insurance company. Most if not all plans pay for a pump. Mine pays up to $250 for the pump and supplies

I had a lansinoh double breast pump with my first. I loved it. I went back to work at three months and used it till she was a year old. It worked great and never failed me. Also, the price is great. It's a closed system and was easy to clean and to put together. The valves are sturdy as well.
