Period & Infection

I started noticing yeast infection symptoms maybe 3 days before my period. Google became my best friend and it stated that yeast infections may come a week before your period. I want to know if I still need treatment after my period ends. Google also stated that your menstrual dulls the symptoms (which it did) but it doesn't stop the infection completely. So what do you ladies think? Should I get treated or wait things out for a few days And see if things return to normal??
