Crush???

So I met this guy at a wedding via the bride and the groom on Saturday the 25. He asked for my digits and I gave it to him. A day later he texted and we talked. I was down to just know him. But it seems like he's not on the same page as I am. For me it seems like he was forced to talk to me instead of him thinking "Yeah, I would like to know her more". We live in different states. I'm in MN and he's in WI and I know for a fact that we will never meet again in life. So it's been about 4 days (today is the 29) and now I'm just thinking should I just continue to just go with it and "pretend" that I don't have this interest in him, confront him that this is not going to happen even as just friends and listen to how he feels, or should I just be patient and see what happens since it's still early?
