How many minutes do you pump for?

Also do you pump for the same amount of time each session? I typically do 30min first pump of the morning and then 15min the rest of the day. Curious what others are doing.

I've found 6-8 minutes per hour since I last pumped is optimal. I usually do 25 minutes if the last pump was 4 hours prior, but will go to 30 if milk is still flowing. My morning pump is 30-40 since it's usually 5 hours or so since my previous pump.

Whe I started I pumped 30mins to drain the breast completely now it ussully only take 15-20 unless I skip a pump then 30

I'm looking for a certain amount off each side, which usually takes 20 ish minutes.

It varies for me depending on how many pumps per day or how long between pumps.  The more pumps, the shorter the duration. The fewer pumps, the longer they were. The more time between pumps, the longer the session. So, my first pump of the day once dropping my MOTN pump was always the longest, up to 45 minutes to totally empty.

I will usually do 20 min, but sometimes 30 just to empty if I still feel full..

Usually 15.  Sometimes 20-25 if it's been more than 3 hours or there is still any milk coming.  But it is rare that it is more than 2-3 hours so usually 15 mins does it.
