Chemical pregnancy?

Hello, I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if I had a chemical pregnancy or what's going on? I had a positive test 2 days before my period, the day before my period and the morning my period started (started at night) and they were all pretty faint, but there. It is full on period with light cramps and everything. I'm guessing I had a chemical pregnancy. Can anyone confirm if that's what they think? Also, will I be more fertile this next cycle now? I'm having a hard time with this because I really thought I was pregnant. It's so disheartening. About to start month 8 of ttc. 😔 Any advice is appreciated! Thank you!

It sounds like a chemical pregnancy. I'm sorry hun.  I had one in February after 8 months ttc. The next month I ovulated over a week later than normal and  then became pregnant. I am 16 weeks along now.

I think this happened to me last February and turns out we were lucky to even have a fertilised egg, as it transpires my husband has poor sperm morphology.
I was gutted of course, but at least it was very early on (got the positive one day before expected period that came).
We've been ttc for 19 months now and feels like it'll never happen but i'm lucky i havent experienced miscarriages like some of the poor ladies on here.
